Kampala, 31th January 2019 – SolarWorX is pleased to announce that it is now supporting Empologoma e.V. . Since 2012 the non-profit association is committed to providing secure homes, healthy nutrition, medical care and education to children in need nearby Kampala, Uganda.

Starting with six girls in the age of 5-19 Empologoma e.V. is now able to give 34 girls a place to live, learn and play. In 2017 they were able to shift to their own house in Matugga, a suburb of Kampala and just recently they opened a second house nearby. The objective is to provide a stable environment to grow up and teach the children different skills to shape a self-determined future. Beside of school education the organization offers extra curriculum activities such as dance groups, in which local traditional dances are performed and collaborative skills are improved.
Inspired by the “weltwärts” exchange program of the founders’ daughter, Empologoma e.V. started 2012 in Uganda. Since then the local team of grew constantly and is now supported by a range of corporate and private donors, mostly from Germany.
