We are pleased to announce that Solarworx has been awarded the top prize in the Galp Startup the Future Global Open Innovation Program. Out of a pool of over 200 applications spanning 47 countries across six continents, Solarworx emerged as the winner in the competition track dedicated to “Bringing Energy to Everyone: Fighting energy poverty and facilitating access to energy in underdeveloped communities.”
As the winner, Solarworx is set to engage in a collaborative partnership with Galp’s business units and innovation teams, embarking on the co-development of a fully funded MESH grid pilot project in Mozambique. Additionally, Solarworx will forge connections with Galp’s Corporate Venture Capital team and showcase its MESH grid solution at the renowned Web Summit 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal.
