As the winner of the Empower a Billion Lives (EBL-II) competition held in Orlando in March 2023, Solarworx has been invited to participate in the IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Expo (ECCE 2023) in Nashville, Tennessee, taking place from October 29th to November 2nd, 2023.
The IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) is a leading industry event that serves as a platform for the exchange of the latest research and developments in energy conversion and power electronics. The conference brings together researchers, engineers, scientists, and industry professionals to share their work in areas such as power electronic systems and devices, motor drives, electric machines, electrification, transportation, renewable energy systems, energy storage systems, microgrids, and power quality.
Solarworx will present during the ECCE Special Session on Energy Access: Technical Challenges and Opportunities. During this session, Solarworx will introduce its recent advancements in DC MESH technology to the power electronics community, alongside other EBL-II winners. This presentation reflects Solarworx’s commitment to innovative solutions that aim to improve global energy access.

Empower a Billion Lives (EBL) unleashes innovation through the development and demonstration of new regionally relevant, holistic, scalable, and economically viable solutions by leveraging 21st-century technologies that feature exponentially declining prices and have shown rapid global adoption. The competition is agnostic to energy sources, technologies, and business models while evaluating the potential impact and ability to rapidly and sustainably scale solutions to a billion customers. Teams are invited from across the globe and from all walks of life, including companies, entrepreneurial startups, research organizations, and student teams from colleges and universities. It is organized by PELS under the Global Energy Access Forum (GEAF).
