Freiburg, 12th December 2019 – Second place of the MakeItMatter award 2019 goes to Solarworx from Berlin. Local utility company EWS, together with the Freiburg-based Smart Green Accelerator start-up platform, presented the MakeItMatter awards for the first time. The prize aims at start-ups that advance the energy revolution with innovative ideas while thinking about aspects of community participation of a decentralized energy system. The award includes prize money of € 10,000 for Solarworx.
